Mari loves to visit schools and libraries! Kids love to learn how a children’s book comes to life. They see so many books in their classrooms and libraries, how are they created?

The kids love to connect a face to the author name on the cover.

What to expect on a school or library visit:

• Presentation on the book creation process from drafting a manuscript, phases of illustration, to publishing, and marketing. Content will be tailored based on the age of the kids. Mari has presented to preschool through 8th grade!

• Reading of the story

• Question & Answer session with the audience

• Pre-purchased books will be distributed

• Donated copies for the school or library will be provided

• Activity sheets will be supplied in advance to the teachers or event leaders.
